Yo! Its been a month since I wrote something here. In the previous vacuum days, I have done a lot of things. Most of these things are studying. I think this is the most-hardest semester that I have been studied in. I received a lot of homework, many piles of assignments, and any other study-related things. But, the thing that I really have been thinking this whole month is about an OS. Though it sounds silly, I really do care about this.

OS is abbreviation of Operating System. Here is a citation from wikipedia about this one.

An operating system (OS) is a set of programs that manage computer hardware resources and provide common services for application software. The operating system is a vital component of the system software in a computer system. Application programs require an operating system which are usually separate programs, but can be combined in simple systems.

This means that the OS is the manager of a computer. Without the manager, a system wont work effectively. Human, as we call the user, is the brain of this manager.



There are many types of OS, which is one of them is Microsoft Windows. Windows is the most famous, be using, by Indonesian users. However, how about the others OS like Linux, DOS, and MAC OS X. Few people might be using it, and the one who catch my attention is MAC OS X.

Why I pay for this one ? First, because this OS has the most beautiful, user-friendly GUI (Graphic User Interface). Look at these:



Second, people said that OS X is only worked in a Macintosh Computer (MC) created by Apple which is not have the same architecture as PC (Personal Computer). It means that the OS X will not work in a regular PC that been sold everywhere. The cost of one MC is approximately above $1.000 (Rp 10.000.000). Hell this shit! I dont have that amount of money.

However, I found this article that shows me how to make the OS run in a PC. That was what I am doing in the past month. I'm learning about how using it. I'm learning how to solve problem that it caused, because any crossover software wont be as good as the original.
